In 2014, El Tizoncito opened its doors with a modest store on James L Redman Pkway in Plant City. The restaurant became a quick hit with locals for not only great Mexican dishes but its invitation to experience the culture as well. In 2018, the owners expanded its dining area to accommodate its rapid growth and continue to serve and satisfy loyal customers.
The beautiful art work you'll find on every table and booth is handcrafted and imported from Mexico, each telling its own story. Every Sunday, you'll get to listen to traditional live music performed by a local mariachi band. If you're looking for an authentic taste of Mexican culture, look no further than El Tizoncito.

The Owners
Anselmo and Elvia are the couple behind it all. They moved to the U.S. from Mexico to pursue their American dream--own a restaurant that brings the best of Mexican culture to their local community. They believe in hard work and love their family, children, and community.
